The laboratory tests listed in our test directory can be collected at any of our locations, except when noted in the test directory. A small minority of laboratory tests may not be collected at all locations because of specimen stability issues. Tests not performed on-site in our hospital laboratories will be collected and then referred to a testing laboratory.

*Specimens from patients with known clinically significant antibodies or with a current positive antibody screen will be referred out for antibody identification and completion of the crossmatch.
All other blood product requests will be ordered from Canadian Blood Services after the request is received in the laboratory.
